Summer is almost here, and we have two tryouts coming up for our Wave Summer Swim Team.
· The Wave Summer Swim Team will begin practice starting on Monday, June 21, and finish with a swim meet on Saturday, August 7.
· Practices will take place Monday-Thursday mornings, between 8:15am and 10:30am (exact time is TBD for now), at the Juanita High School Pool.
· Cost for the program is $320, and includes all practices, meet, time trials, team shirt and cap.
Interested families must register for the tryout ahead of time in order to attend, but families can only sign up for one of our two tryout options.
Our first tryout will be on Saturday, June 5, 5:45pm check in, finished at 6:30pm.
This tryout will take place at the Juanita High School Pool.

Our second tryout will be Wednesday, June 9, 7:00pm check in, finished at 7:45pm.

Important Tryout Notes:
->Come prepared: wearing a bathing suit (no locker room access for safety reasons), swim goggles and if needed, a swim cap
->COVID Safety Protocols are effect: athletes must have signed waiver (provided by the coaches ahead of time), temperature taken before arriving (99.5 F or less), be symptom free to attend.
->A tryout is the first step in joining the team. The coaches will see if the prospective athlete is ready for swim team, and which level they will start at.
->Athletes 10 and older will swim a short practice, athletes 9 and younger will just need to demonstrate the strokes they know
->Athlete placement into a group is based on their age and ability. The coaches are the only ones qualified to make that determination.
->Only athletes and coaches may be on pool deck. Family members must remain outside of the building during the tryout.
