Wave Aquatics
Welcome to Wave Aquatics! Since 1986, we have provided an array of aquatics programs to Eastside community members of the greater Seattle area. Each year, thousands of community members participate in swim lessons, recreational and fitness swimming, and competitive swimming with the Wave Swim Team and the Lake Washington Masters.

Upcoming Closures:
We will be closed on Labor day, September 7th. We will resume normal programming on Tuesday, September 8th.
Lap swim is open to fitness swimmers of all levels who are looking to swim continuous laps.
What to expect:

Continuous Swimming: The pool is fully set up with lane lines to provide an uninterrupted space for pacing, training, and fitness swimming.

Shared Lanes: Be prepared to share! If there are more than two swimmers in your lane, please remember to circle swim to keep traffic flowing safely.

Come make a splash with the whole family! This open swim session is designed for all ages and swimming abilities.
What to expect:

Open Play: Families can swim and play throughout the entire pool, from the shallow end to the deep end.

Lap Swimming: Lane lines will be in the deep end for those who want to swim laps.

All Ages Welcome: A perfect weekend activity for everyone to enjoy the water!
Family Swim is an Open swim for all ages

This swim session is strictly for adults 50 and older looking to swim laps in a dedicated, quiet space.
What to expect:

Ages 50+ Only: A comfortable, dedicated time specifically for seniors to exercise.

Shallow & Deep Water: Lane lines are set up in both ends of the pool so you can choose your preferred depth.

Lap Swimming: Designed for continuous swimming and pacing at your own speed.

Our water aerobics classes provide a low-impact workout led by an instructor. Classes are available in both shallow and deep water to accommodate different comfort levels and fitness goals.
What to expect:

Instructor-Led: Classes are typically guided by an instructor but are sometimes group led.

Shallow & Deep Options: Choose the depth that works best for you. We offer classes in both shallow and deep water.

All Ages & Abilities Welcome: Participants of all fitness levels and ages are welcome to join and exercise at their own pace.

These lessons are designed for kids ages 3 to 13 of all ability levels.
What to expect:

All Abilities Welcome: Whether your child is just getting comfortable in the water or is ready to learn new strokes, there is a place for them.

Supportive Environment: Our instructors provide a safe and encouraging space to help kids progress at their own pace.

Water Safety Focus: Lessons are designed to build essential water safety skills and swimming techniques while having fun in the pool.

These group lessons are designed for teens and adults ages 14 and older of all ability levels.
What to expect:

Group Environment: Learn and practice alongside peers in a comfortable, supportive, and encouraging space.

All Abilities Welcome: Whether you are learning to swim for the very first time or looking to refine your stroke technique, there is a spot for you.

Set Curriculum: Lessons follow a structured, set curriculum designed to safely and effectively build your swimming and water safety skills.

Introduce your little one to the water in a fun and safe environment! These instructor-led group lessons are designed for infants and toddlers ages 3 months to 3 years old.
What to expect:

Parent Participation Required: A parent or guardian must be in the water with their child for the duration of every lesson.

Group Environment: Learn alongside other families in a comfortable and supportive setting guided by our instructors.

Water Confidence & Safety: Lessons focus on getting young children comfortable in the water through songs and games, while also teaching parents essential water safety skills

These weeklong sessions are designed for kids ages 3 to 13 of all ability levels.
What to expect:

Monday-Friday Sessions: Lessons run daily from Monday through Friday, providing consistent practice to help your child learn and progress quickly.

All Abilities Welcome: Whether your child is just getting comfortable in the water or is ready to learn new strokes, there is a place for them.

Elevate your training with our Masters swim team. This program provides competitive adult swimmers with rigorous workouts, advanced stroke refinement, and a supportive team atmosphere, as well as dedicated practices tailored for less advanced adults who want to build their skills and fitness.
What to expect:

Adults 18+: Designed specifically for adult swimmers looking for a structured, challenging, and competitive workout.

Competitive Training: Practices are led by coaches and focus on advanced stroke technique, building endurance, and race preparation.

Team Environment: Train and compete alongside fellow adult swimmers, building fitness and camaraderie in the water.

Rental blocks are dedicated times for aquatic professionals and organizations seeking dedicated space for their activities.
What to expect:

Dedicated Space: Rent the specific pool space you need for your program. Requirements: All renters must have and provide proof of liability insurance.
