Mikayla Davis named Lake Washington Masters Head Coach

Wave Aquatics is pleased to announce that Mikayla Davis has accepted the role of Head Coach for the Lake Washington Masters! Mikayla has been serving in the role on an interim basis and is excited to take on the role of Head Coach on an ongoing basis for the team.
Mikayla has been with Wave since 2021, serving as a coach for the youth swim team and working as a lifeguard and substitute coach for the Lake Washington Masters. Mikayla started swimming at her local YMCA in Spokane, where she specialized in Breaststroke and Long-Distance. She competed in Triathlons including the 2018 and 2019 Nationals where she qualified for the 2019 and 2020 Triathlon Worlds.
Says Mikayla "My main excitement for this new position is to increase community and engagement with Lake Washington Masters in order to help all individuals find a place within the team and achieve their goals."
Lake Washington Masters is a U.S. Masters Club Team which swims year-round at the Juanita Aquatics Center. LWM offers high quality, professional coaching and technique instruction for adults of all ages and abilities. The team features swimmers with a variety of skill and experience levels, ranging from fitness enthusiasts and triathletes to former Division 1 collegiate swimmers and Olympians.
