Wave November Mini Meet
Overall this was a really great meet for the athletes with tons of best times, lots of good racing, relays that got off the ground on time, and our soon-to-be-replaced score board found some new life for one of it’s last meets.
The coaches had a great time watching our young athletes show the skills they’ve been working on in practice come out at the meet. Thank you to all our families who helped to make this happen!

A few highlights by practice groups:
Black at Juanita
Sophia Gorveatt swam all best times with nice time drops in both her 50 Back and 50 Breast, and a first place finish in her 50 Free. Ella Johnson swam all best times including a first place finish in the 25 Free. Daniil Pegushin swam all best times including big time drops in his 50 Breast and 50 Free.
Black at Willows Time Slot 1
Kamilla Bugaitsova posted a strong swim in her 50 Free and successfully completed both the 25 Breast and 25 Fly for the first time. Sophia Willis had some big drops in her 50 Back and 50 Free, and successfully completed the 50 Breast for the first time. Ishansh Yadava Swam all best times and made big drops in his 25 Free and 50 Back placing him second in both of those races.
Black at Willows Time Slot 2
Daniel Chen won all three of his races and dropped time in all three of his races. Raine Huang has been coming on strong recently and that continued at this meet with three more big time drop. Oliver Wang dropped time in all three of his races including breaking forty seconds for the first time in the 50 Free.
White at Juanita
Anton Chebotaryov swam all best times and finished first in all of his races. Matthew Choy had all best times and swam a PNS Gold time in his 50 Free. Victor Zhang; three best times and broke forty seconds for the first time in his 50 Free.
White at Redmond
Allie Bai puts in great effort at practice and it shows with two first place finishes, one third place finishes, and three new best times. Anaya Teredesai swam three best times including big drops in her 50 Fly and 50 Free. Julien Wang swam three best times and had big time drops in his 50 Breast and 50 Fly.
