Bindi Pedersen Verbally Commits to University of Idaho

WAVE Aquatics is proud to announce that Bindi Pedersen has verbally committed to the Vandals of University of Idaho for 2019-20.  Bindi has been a member of WAVE Aquatics for the last 4 years.

Over the past four years Bindi has broken WAVE team records for Short Course in the 17-18 Girls 100 Fly and 200 Fly, and the 15-16 Girls 100 IM.  She has also broken team Long Course records in the Girls Open 200 IM, the 17-18 Girls 100 Fly and 200 Fly, the 13-14 Girls 100 Breast, 200 Breast, 200 Fly, 200 IM, and 400 IM.  She has broken four Getchell High School records.  And broke the 19 year old girls District 200 IM record on her way to a 2nd place finish at state.  Bindi has also been a two time USA Swimming Scholastic All American.

Bindi plans on studying Chemistry at Idaho, with a goal of getting her masters in Pharmacy.

I can’t wait to be a Vandal and see what the future holds for me. I want to thank my WAVE swim family for encouraging me and helping me through the years. 

Congrats to Bindi from the whole WAVE family!!!!! We can’t wait to see what you do over your Senior year and into college.
