Redmond Pool Update

Dear WAVE Community,

We wanted to share an update on the Redmond Pool renovation with you. Unfortunately, while doing the renovation, they found an issue with the substructure of the pool. The Board and program leads met with Rachel Van Winkle, Redmond Parks Deputy Director, last Wednesday to discuss where they are at with resolving this issue and what the options are for getting the pool back up and running. They are working with contractors on getting estimates and timelines and will let us know as soon as they know more.

We want to assure you that we are in constant contact with Redmond regarding the pool renovation and working with them to ensure we do everything we can to lessen the impact that the pool closure has on everyone. The Board is working closely with the program leads to evaluate options and schedule impacts, so they will be ready to start making decisions once we have clear timelines for the Redmond pool availability.

We will keep the you updated as we find out more about what the impact of this issue will be. If you have further questions, you can contact me at Kfir.Ami-ad@waveaquaticsboard.org
