Pool Rules:

Everyone must take a cleansing shower before entering the pool.
If you have a communicable disease that can be transmitted by water, or have been ill with diarrhea or vomiting in the last two weeks, do not use the pool.
Bathers with seizure, heart or circulatory problems are advised to swim with a buddy.
Bathers who are not potty-trained must wear swim diapers that have tight fitting protective coverings.
Diapers must be changed in the designated diaper changing area or restrooms.
Do not use pool when under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
No running on deck or horseplay in the pool.
No food, drinks, or gum are allowed in, or around, the pool.
No glass, or glass containers, allowed on deck.
All children ages 13 and under must take a swim test before entering deep water.
- If you think your swimmer might need extra time or help with understanding and performing the test, you can request a Special Accommodation Swim Test. These tests can be scheduled directly with a Head Guard or a Manager at our facilities. Patrons will be able to arrange a convenient time by emailing us through our contact form on the website or at waveswimschool@waveaquatics.org.
- If you are unsure if this is necessary for your swimmer, please email us a description of your situation and any questions you have. We will assess your description and help you decide a course of action.
- Once your swimmer passes the test, we will place a note on your account, ensuring that no further swim tests will be required.
Children ages 6 and under must be accompanied by an adult in the water, within arms-reach, at all times. Up to 3 children may be under the supervision of 1 adult.
Diving is only permitted in water with a depth of 10 feet, or greater.
The use of starting-blocks and pull-up bars are restricted to private training times, under the supervision of coach.
The use of cell phones and other photographic devices in the locker room is strictly prohibited.
No hanging on the lane lines.
Children over the age of 4 years, must change in the appropriate gendered locker room.
Persons failing to follow the rules are subject to removal from the premises.
Closest phone for emergency use is located in the Pool Office
AED and First Aid Kit are located in the First Aid Room
No teaching private swim lessons during public swims unless an agreement has been reached with our Rentals team (For lane rental inquiries, please email rentals@waveaquatics.org)

Diving Board Rules

Only one person at a time is permitted on the diving board and ladder
Each person must wait until the previous diver has cleared the area before diving
Front dives and flips are allowed straight off the end of the board
Only one bounce is permitted on the diving board except during instructional activity, under the supervision of a diving instructor
Cartwheels and handstands are prohibited
Running dives are not allowed
Jumping off the diving board into the arms of another swimmer is not permitted
Divers must swim directly to the nearest ladder and leave the diving area
Swimming under the diving board is prohibited
Playing or swimming in the diving area is not permitted while the board is open for diving
Hanging off the end of the diving board is prohibited
Goggles, masks or floatation devices may not be worn going off the board
As a safety precaution, before diving, divers must pass a swim test
Adjustments of the diving board fulcrum may only be made at the discretion of aquatic staff
The manager on duty may restrict certain dives based on safety concerns

If you want to enroll in multiple public swim events at once (example: you want to enroll in all the Tuesday lap swims for the rest of the month) then we recommend enrolling through the Register Tab. Enrolling this way gives you the option of selecting multiple dates all on the same page

If you want to enroll for a single public swim event (example: you want to enroll in the family swim on a single Saturday) then we recommend enrolling through the Drop-In Events Tab
