Wave Aquatics Swim Team Tryout; August 7, 2023

Wave Aquatics Swim Team has a tryout set for Monday, August 7 at the Redmond Pool.

Arrival Time is 4:00pm to get athletes checked in

Tryout will start at 4:15pm

Athletes will be done by 5:15pm at the latest.

Younger athletes may be done closer to 5:00pm.

Athlete’s age 18 and under are welcome to attend:

Athletes Age 10 and Older

We have limited space and some athletes might be placed onto a waitlist until space becomes available.

Athletes must know all four competitive strokes and show both good skills and speed in the water. Previous swim team experience as well as athleticism from other sports or activities is helpful.

Athletes Age 9 and Younger

Must be comfortable in the water in the coach’s eyes, show good listening skills, able to comfortably swim across the pool in at least two of the four competitive strokes.

Notes:

>Only athletes, coaches and lifeguards may be in the building. Family members must remain outside the building- this includes the lobby -during the tryout.

>Come prepared with suit, cap and goggles.

>No locker room access, athletes must arrive and leave in their swim suit.
