The Board is excited to announce that we have hired an interim Executive Director, Amy Wasser.
Amy has extensive experience in the non-profit space, and this is her sixth engagement stepping in as an interim Executive Director. Her experience will be invaluable as we transition away from the role of Executive Director being combined with the Head Coach role.
Amy will be taking on the day-to-day Executive Director management responsibilities as well as working with the Executive Board and our senior management team as she does an organizational assessment. This assessment will help guide us in hiring a full-time Executive Director and ensure we find the right fit for WAVE. Typically, interim Executive Directors are in place for 6-10 months to allow for an assessment period, implementation of priorities arising from the assessment and time to hire and onboard a full-time Executive Director.
